Happy I Bought This Item - 35mm Digital Camera Critique

Pretty disappointing when you're trying to get a group shot. The panoramic setting is fantastic, super easy to use, and - oddly enough - picks up small details even from very far away. Last, I wasn't able to find a details view of any picture or movie file to see the kb size. I expected a 300.00 camera to not have the lens protector issue.

This does the job of both of my previous cameras, plus adds underwater options, all while taking up a quarter of the space. The only thing I would change is the delay before it takes the video or picture.

This is the second Olympus Tough that I have own. The first one died after 3 years of taking it to the beach and eventually the seals give up and let water in (sea water). This camera is head and shoulders above the other point and shoot cameras for snorkeling, outdoor shots, video in at least a decently lit location, and even indoors within 5 feet of the camera. My favorite setting continues to be - AUTO! Pictures got deleted either when the camera ran out of batteries or when the battery got taken out.

We spend tons of time at the beach, our pool and the waterpark so waterproof was necessary. The only complaints I have are 1.) It takes a long time to turn on and off. What I love about it is that you can set the scene to whatever environment you are in. It also has a function that allows for shooting continuously. This camera appears very similar to the 8010 - in form and function. But one of the critical practical differences is that the water-tight lock (which insulates the battery, memory card from water) is built much worse than on the more expensive cameras. It is a little heavier than I expected and a little bigger (buying a case for it was a little tricky). Overall it is a nice looking camera that is easy to use. My previous Olympus did. This one shoots HD in the video mode. I bought this camera just for Kayaking. It takes quality photos and is very simple to use.

This will help me take good pictures were my Rebel can't be taken (rain forest, underwater) I recently ordered this camera for my wife. We have used it 5 or 6 times now and we are really beginning to love how easy it works, as well as the features.

All of my photos taken with the 6020 are perfect, unless I do something wrong. Read the directions and anyone who buys this great little camera will love it and have great success with sharp, clean, well colored photos! This camera has been dropped by a 3 year old on the concrete, used to snorkel under water, and caught some wonderful spur of the moment HD video. Let's just say if you have the correct setting, the photos are fantastic.
