My approach to documenting weddings is to allow the day to unfold naturally. This lends to the best photographs. I use natural light whenever possible to minimize my presence and to allow the mood of the day to come through. Many of my clients state afterward "We hardly noticed you there". I don't want the day to be remembered as a photo shoot, but I always get the shots that are needed to create the story.

The wedding album is an heirloom that is to be passed down through generations. I use only the finest quality leather albums and paper. A portfolio of archival black and white prints is available on request.

My aim is to provide you with personable service. During pre-production I give suggestions and create an itinerary so we are in agreement as to which shots are needed. I divide the day into several parts. The portrait session of the day is usually scheduled before the ceremony. This is when I directly involve the participation of the bride, groom, family members and wedding party. Bride and groom formals, large family shots are usually taken directly after the ceremony. The remainder of the day is spent shooting candid shots. Post-production services are provided in a timely, professional manner.
